Linked campers
Linked campers let you record connections between campers from different families - friendships, cousins, neighbors, classmates, and more. These links help your team understand relationships across your camp community, which is especially useful during bunking assignments and group planning.

Creating a link
From any enrollment profile, navigate to the Overview tab and find the Linked campers section. Click the edit icon, then Add linked camper to get started.
You'll be asked to:
Search for a camper - type a name to find the camper you want to link to. The search shows campers enrolled in the same season, and filters out campers who are already in the same family (since sibling relationships are captured through the family record).
Choose a relationship - select the type of connection from the dropdown:
Cousin
Step-cousin
Friend
Best friend
Family friend
Neighbor
Classmate
Teammate
Include siblings (optional) - check this option to automatically create the same link for all of the camper's siblings, saving you from adding each one individually.
Click Save and the link is created. Links are bidirectional - if you link Camper A to Camper B, the connection also appears on Camper B's profile automatically.
Viewing linked campers
Linked campers appear on the enrollment profile's overview page, showing each linked camper's name, relationship type, and enrollment stage. You can click through to view any linked camper's enrollment directly.
Linked campers are also available as a column in the enrollments Datatable, making it easy to see connections at a glance across your full roster.
Editing and removing links
From the linked campers section on a profile, you can:
Edit a link to change the relationship type. Updating the relationship on one side automatically updates the other.
Remove a link to disconnect two campers. The link is removed from both profiles.
How linked campers help
Bunking - when assigning cabins, knowing which campers are friends or relatives helps you make thoughtful placement decisions.
Group planning - understanding social connections across your roster supports better camper group assignments.
Family context - seeing cousin and family friend relationships helps your team understand the broader community around each camper.
Links between campers are separate from family relationships. Siblings are already connected through their shared family record - linked campers captures the connections that span across different families.
