Overview
The Staffing board gives you a clear overview of all your departments and hiring progress for the season.
Your staff will be visible on the staffing board when they are assigned roles and department during the make an offer or sending contract step.
Departments
Each department represents a team or area of camp (like Waterfront or Outdoor Adventure). Departments help you group and manage the roles you need to fill.
Add a department: Click + New department.
Edit department settings: Select the three dots ⋯ next to a department to open Department settings.
Department settings
Inside each department, you can adjust how it appears to applicants:
Name: Internal name you’ll see on your Staffing Board.
Show on public staffing interest form: Toggle this on if you want the department visible to potential applicants.
Public name: The name that appears on your camp’s staffing interest form.
Public description: Add a short, friendly note to describe what working in this department involves.
Click Save when you’re done - changes appear instantly on your public staffing form.
Roles
Each department contains roles that represent the positions you need to fill. To add a role, click + Add role inside a department.
When creating or editing a role, you can assign a gender requirement — leaving it open to all genders, or reserving it for male or female candidates. This is clearly indicated when selecting roles during the offer or contract process, so you always know which positions have gender requirements attached.
Tracking progress
Your Staffing Board automatically shows:
Total departments
Roles filled and open
Breakdown by gender identity and location (domestic or international)
Additional roles assigned to a staff member are flagged on the board with a dedicated icon, making it easy to identify staff taking on responsibilities outside of their primary position.
You can Filter, Search, or Export your data anytime to stay on top of your hiring goals.
