Processing payments with Stripe

How payments work

When a family completes enrollment checkout, Campfront processes the payment through Stripe using the payment method on file. This covers card payments (credit and debit cards processed instantly), ACH bank transfers with lower processing fees, deposits when partial payments are configured at checkout, and installment payments that are automatically charged on their due dates.

Viewing transactions in Campfront

Every payment processed through Stripe appears in the Billing section of your Campfront account. From there you can filter and sort transactions by date, status, amount, or payment method, export transaction data for your records or reporting, and view details for any individual transaction including the Stripe reference.

Your Stripe dashboard

Your connected Stripe Dashboard syncs with all Campfront transactions and provides additional tools for financial management. You can handle reconciliation to match transactions with your accounting software, process refunds and cancellations directly from Stripe when needed, manage disputes and chargebacks through Stripe's resolution center, and track payouts to see when funds are deposited into your bank account.

Connected account

Campfront uses Stripe Connect, which means payments flow directly into your own Stripe account. You maintain full control over your funds, payout schedule, and Stripe settings.
